Located at the heart of the UNESCO heritage zone in George Town Penang is Seven Terraces. This beautifully refurbished boutique hotel on Stewart Lane by renowned hotelier Christopher Ong and Karl Steinberg of Muntri Mews, Clove Hall and the UNESCO award winning hotel Galle Fort in Sri Lanka houses many Baba Nyonya and Chinese antique furniture and collectibles.
The both of them have designed a small private hotel, with great emphasis on maintaining the historical feel yet bringing a sense of class to the place. With only 18 suites, Seven Terraces offers a surrouding of elegance with its Chinese courtyard adorned with frangipani while maintaining the wooden high columns. Its location is unparalleled, with some of the rooms getting a view of the Georgian Church while it is smack right in the heart of the Georgetown UNESCO area.
